Daher TBM 700/850/900 In Airplane and Simulator Training

Professional, Affordable, Insurance-Approved

Your training schedule is based on your flying ability, recent experience, and time in type- not some arbitrary timeline. We aren’t a big school so our instructors get to know you, learn your strengths and weaknesses, and put together a program tailored to your training objective(s). It’s a concept that works. Our clients have been returning every year for the past 20 years!

We emphasize the nuances of flying professionally and want you to learn something new every time you train with us. We teach things that matter- information you can put to use in your everyday flying to become a safer and more efficient Daher TBM pilot. Instead of rehashing a tired syllabus of minutiae and memory items, our focus is on teaching you how a system works from a pilot’s perspective.

Every instructor’s goal is to develop a long-term training partnership. We are the experts you can turn to with a systems or operating question any time of the year, not just during class. It’s a different approach to your required training. We think it’s a better choice.

Training Flight Simulator

Our new simulator is based on the popular SOCATA TBM single engine turboprop light business and utility aircraft. Pilots of the 700/850/900 series turboprop aircraft will feel right at home with our precise flight modeling, visual and cockpit ergonomics. This is a great way to train!

Training Philosophy

Professional pilots are in the best position to determine what type of training works best for them. For some, it’s attending a big-name school and being in class 8 hours a day reviewing theoretical knowledge. For others, they prefer to train to proficiency and learn more practical information.

The training to proficiency concept is the hallmark of our business. Although we have an insurance approved syllabus, we are not tied to a Part 142 curriculum that is not tailorable to my student’s requirements and timelines. Rather than rehash the same old information, we reinforce the skills already mastered and incorporate the latest operational and procedural changes.

Of course, aircraft system training is included to help you recognize the limitations and capabilities of your airplane.

We strive to make each year challenging and create a long-term training partnership with our students. This continuity allows us to get to know our students and their unique operations. We then create an individualized training plan for each student. We evaluate their skills and reinforce their current operating procedures if safe and appropriate. This can be done in the simulator, the aircraft or a combination of both.

The proven Daher TBM airframe has enjoyed many years of service. These airplanes are stable, yet forgiving, and comprise a large percentage of the turbo prop fleet. The key to the Daher TBM’s safety record is continuous training. Our goal is to improve your aircraft handling skills, decision-making abilities, Single Pilot Resource Management and overall safety while flying the Daher TBM.
